GLOBAL REPORT— In 2016, the world’s largest hotel companies got bigger, and by projects in the pipeline, they look to grow even more this year.

Here’s a rundown of the world’s largest hotel brands, chains, metro markets*, pipelines and properties**, according to STR, parent company of Hotel News Now.
